Does it feel to be part of a ministry? I had no idea I was part of one….Maybe you probably had no idea you were part of one. Guess what? Through Christ we are all … competent as ministers of a new covenant – 2Corinthians 3:6. What an honor that through spirit alone I am capable of such position. In this ministry there is no need for a letter of recommendation.
Back then to have such a title like, apostle, You needed a letter of proving such. In the case of Paul, according to sources of research…since he did not have a letter, however had a “letter” written with in him from god, calling him to be an apostle.
Reality through GRACE now says…..
You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.
You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry,
written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God,
not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
I’m glad I did more research on this verse. I came across this verse randomly from some bible study literature from my mother in law. It really stood out to me. Pretty much most of what Paul says stands out to me.
Now through the new covenant your call is purely spiritual, god sent. As the saying goes “nothing is written in stone”…..literally. The ABILITY teach or minister or do anything you are called by god to do…especially personally, to family, a friend or simply a stranger in the street…..It does not have to be written in stone (such as the 10 commandments were) but it lies with-in the tablet of your beating heart.
Say your friend or family member comes to you for help, you wouldn’t say…”Sorry I cant give you that advice, I’m not a licensed minister” You would just go ahead and give them that spiritual guidance that they need! God sent them to you for a reason.
Now I will say this….
The only thing written that is simply ALL truth is the word and that is written in your bible.
Read the word and understand the word. Those will be your tools. It had definitely been mine.
…not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. – 2Corinthians 3:6
The spirit is life.
